#15 – Deep Dive into WindX

PxPlus is one of the few development systems that come with its own thin client interface — WindX.  This unique offering allows you to run your business application remotely from virtually any Windows PC and provides a wealth of functionality not found in other thin clients.

If you are like most people, you probably use only a small portion of the features provided by WindX.  Join us at DireXions 2017 where we will be reviewing all the existing features such as dynamic downloads, remote calls, file access, and security while introducing you to the latest new features we have added in PxPlus 2017.

In addition to a review of the WindX features, we will also be covering the various ways you can connect to your servers using WindX.   This includes:

  • Telnet
  • SSH
  • Via a URL
  • Three PxPlus thin client protocols
    • NTHost/NTSlave
    • Simple CS
    • Application Server

Join us as we delve into the world of SSL/security and review how you can setup various configurations in order to address different levels of security — from a simple encryption to a Trusted Internet Connection using the same logic and security protocols used by Web browsers to assure data integrity and safety for your financial transactions.

The Thin Client Configuration and Setup session is another superb reason not to miss DireXions 2017.

Make sure you book early to avoid disappointment.

Did you know that all the prices on the DireXions 2017 web site are in Canadian Dollars?

The current exchange rate, approximately $1.00 CDN dollar equal to $0.76 USD (or €0.71), makes this conference and cruise an exceptionally great deal.
